How does the Small Miracles Fund work? 

Small Miracles Fund provides financial support to individuals seeking advanced functional medicine therapeutics for individuals diagnosed with chronic diseases like Long COVID, cancer, autoimmunity and neurodegenerative disease.

 

We award treatment scholarships to patients in cohort groups four times per year, beginning at the start of a new quarter. 

How many patients are coming through the cohorts?

Five to seven patients per cohort depending on patient need and fund availability.

How long does a cohort run? 

Scholarship cohorts run for three months.

How many treatments do the patients need to commit to?

The preferred goal is 16 treatments, including IVs and hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) over a 3-month period of time. 

What is the cost of one patient’s treatment through a cohort?

Small Miracles Fund will cover half of the total treatment cost per patient (approximately $3,000) with the remaining balance belonging to the patient. 

How do patients get selected?

Patients write an email to Small Miracles Fund explaining their need for financial support and must have one of the qualifying conditions.

What are the qualifying conditions for patients?

Qualifying conditions include cancer, autoimmunity, long COVID syndrome, neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's and dementia.

Is there an income qualifier for patients?

No, patients self-report their financial need in the application process.

What is the timeline for the cohorts?

January to March

April to June

July to September

October to December

Is there a limit to how many times a patient can apply for financial support?

No, there is currently no limit, however, participation in more than one cohort requires approval from the Small Miracles Board.

Are donations to Small Miracles Fun tax deductible?

Small Miracles Fund is a 501(c)(3) public charity. You can utilize the donate now button on the website, or email us to coordinate sending a check.

Is there a minimum donation amount?

No amount is too small.
